New Database: Global Issues in Context

Global Issues in Context is now available for on-campus and remote access from the A-Z list of databases in addition to the Geography, International Studies, Military Studies, News & Current Events, and Political Science resource pages.

Global Issues in Context offers current, international news and perspectives on the most talked about, debated and studied issues and events in world hot spots. Going beyond a "pro and con" database, Global Issues in Context ties together a variety of sources, including trusted reference content that provides background and context, to present a rich analysis of issues – social, political, military, economic, environmental, science-related, health-related and cultural.

Global Issues in Context includes multimedia elements such as images, podcasts, audio and video in addition to more than 190 country portals that contain country and cultural information, statistics, maps, flags, images, and more
