New RefWorks Attachment Feature

The attachment feature in RefWorks enables users to attach non-bibliographic information to references in their personal database, much like attaching files to an email message. The incorporation of this feature allows users to upload files to existing references stored within their RefWorks database. Now RefWorks users can instantly save and retrieve all forms of data within their database including:
  • BMP, TIF, JPG, PNG, GIF, PDF
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Equations
  • Chemical Structures
  • Technical Drawings
  • and more...
Each user has been provided 200mb of storage space, but 5mb is the maximum attachment size that can be uploaded at one time. See this fact sheet (PDF) for instructions.
