It is no longer necessary to log-in to
FirstSearch databases with a
username and password from the purple folder. All available
FirstSearch databases have been added to the
A to Z list of databases and can be accessed through
IP authentication on campus and through
EZProxy log-in from remote locations.
A list of available
FirstSearch databases is also provided on the
FirstSearch info page. This list
distinguishes between those we have access to though an annual subscription and those which still charge per search. I am still in the process of adding these databases to the appropriate subject pages.
GPO is now available through the
FirstSearch interface. All links through the library website now link to
GPO in FirstSearch (instead of the
SilverPlatter version). A link to the
SiverPlatter version of GPO has been provided on the bottom of the GPO info page, since the library will still have access to it through September.
