New interface for Mergent Online

Mergent Online will automatically transition to a new interface on Thursday, July 1, 2010. An updated user guide has been added to the Mergent intro page. The new interface can be previewed now by visiting http://www.new.mergentonline.com .

Plant Science (JSTOR)

Plant Science (JSTOR) is now available from the list of all databases and the Biology and Agriculture resources pages.

Plant Science (JSTOR) is a new complimentary resource from JSTOR announced on May 24, 2010. It has been made available to all JSTOR participants free of charge and provides access to foundational content vital to plant science - plant type specimens, taxonomic structures, scientific literature, and related materials.

I have set up this resource so users can access it both on campus and from remote locations after authentication.

New eBooks: ASCD Education Collection 2008 Supplement

Ten new electronic titles have been added to the existing Edcuation Collection (ASCD) resource. They are searchable as a collection at the link Edcuation Collection (ASCD) on the A-Z list and they are also searchable along with existing titles in the Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL). MARC records for the online catalog were provided for these items. The ten new titles are listed below:
