Changes to Gale resources

On July 1, Scribner Writers Series( http://ezproxy.lib.apsu.edu/login?url=http://infotrac.galegroup.com/itweb/tel_a_apsu?db=Scribner ) and Twayne's Authors Series (http://ezproxy.lib.apsu.edu/login?url=http://infotrac.galegroup.com/itweb/tel_a_apsu?db=Twayne) will no longer be available in their current database format.

They are both now available as a collection within the Gale Virtual Reference Library. In addition, they will no longer be able to be searched within the Literature Resource Center (http://library.apsu.edu/inform/21LitResCent.htm). However, they will be able to be cross‐searched with Literature Resource Center and other literature resources in Literature Resources from Gale (http://library.apsu.edu/inform/21litresourcesGale.htm) .

I have made all necessary changes to the info pages for each resource on the library website.

Below are the direct links for the new collections in GVRL:

New resource: Education in Video

On-campus and remote access is now available for Education in Video. It is available on the list of all databases, the Education resource page, and the multimedia resources page.

Education in Video is the first online collection of streaming video developed specifically for training and developing teachers. More than 1,000 video titles totaling 750+ hours of teaching demonstrations, lectures, documentaries, and primary-source footage of students and teachers in actual classrooms give education students a way to observe the intricacies of behavior, tone, facial expression, and body language that define effective teaching styles.
